I washed my clothes by hand for the first time today but I'm pretty sure they're not fully clean. They smell better but I'm not completely convinced that they are clean. I'll tell you what, washing clothes by hand requires some major skills that my American self does not have. It was so hard to do! I only washed two t-shirts, two pairs of shorts, and an exercise shirt and it took me almost an hour. If the girls had been there instead of at school, I'm sure they would have laughed at me! First of all, I'm too short for the counter, so it was even more difficult for me to get enough of my arms over the bucket to sufficiently wash my clothes. Second, I have absolutely no idea if what I'm doing is right or if I'm using the correct soap. I've seen the girls uses Chlorox with their clothes but I'm pretty sure I'd bleach all mine out if I did that! I'll have to have the girls teach me how to properly wash my clothes.
