Vivian

Vivian is our youngest of the orphanage. She's only two but don't let her age fool you, she has as much personality as the teenage girls that are here. I'm pretty sure she thinks she's a teenager; that or a movie star but either way, she's a major diva. Her mom is one of the girls at the orphanage and she's sixteen. She is the funniest two year old I've ever been around. I've found that she's like me in that her facial expressions always give away what she's thinking. However, she's nothing like me because she loves and trusts people unconditionally. Her favorite person in her life is definitely Paul. Normally, it takes forever to get her to walk with you anywhere. But, the moment she sees Paul, she's off running towards him screaming, "Paul! Paul!" the whole way. She's also completely terrified of all dogs. We have three dogs at the orphanage, one she's know her whole life, whose name is Bobby. Well anytime she sees a dog, even if it's not Bobby, she starts jumping up and down and waving her hands at you, yelling "Bobby! Bobby!", indicating that she wants to be picked up. To her, a dog is "Bobby" not the real term, which is "perro."
Vivian also has the ability to fall asleep anywhere at the drop of a hat, which I can never do. One minute she's laughing and bouncing up and down, and the next minute she's out. I wish I could do that! One thing is true though, I'm going to have a hard time leaving her behind when I come home. Every time she comes running up to me, slams herself into my legs, and looks up at me with huge brown eyes, I know that she's a big reason why I came back here. It's a look that could break anyone's heart into a thousand pieces because even though she has close to nothing, she's happy. She doesn't know what she doesn't have, and that's okay because you're here with her and that's all that matters to her.
